Lake Roosevelt Sailing

Postby jaltice » Sat Feb 01, 2014 2:46 pm

I was in Eastern Washington last weekend and decided to take a trip up to Lake Roosevelt to check out the route and also the boat launch for a 7-10 day trip I'm taking next summer. I went to Spring Canyon campground/launch. Would like any advice on sailing the lake from those who've done it before. Main concern is what sort of winds I could expect, anchorages/marinas, Colville reservation side cautions and what other boating I should expect before committing.

Here are some photos of the launch area at Spring Canyon.
