Hey folks,
How are you Fleet 1 lightweights adding your weight? Is it being glassed into the sole by the keel box?
cheers

Some are doing bottles filled with lead shot, others are buying Diver weights.
I have the Diver weights. Have not fixed them into position yet.
One added them to the V-Birth compartment. Others are putting them right next to the keel trunk as far forward as possible.

I'm drinking the Bud Light as fast as I can but it's still taking a while to get enough of these dang plastic bottles to fill with lead shot... a rack and a half to be exact.... burb.

What is the purpose of adding weight? When we race we try and leave as much at the dock as possible!

To meet class specs... Boat/mast + all attachments that are glued, screwed, or affixed included has to be 1400+ lbs to be class legal.
