Mark I chainplates

Postby Windchaser17 » Mon Apr 22, 2013 8:20 pm

Ever seen this before? Chain plate almost pulled out. Appears that water intrusion and freeze/thaw cycle delaminated the fiberglass. When the fiberglass was cut away on the inside water poured out. Boat belongs to Jeff Hanson of Fleet 52

mine have been drilled and filled with epoxy. to me this is a non-negotiable on the chain plates given the size of the hole.
